Interesting infographic from Monster today. Of most interest (to me at least) is that only 51% of HR pro’s site social media as a place to recruit candidates. On the other hand 72% of respondents sited job boards (like Monster) as a place to find candidates. I’m curious if that 72% uses the post & pray method or if they search Monster’s candidate database?
Despite the different tactics recruiters might use, it’s interesting to note that the biggest challenges remain the same: finding qualified candidates, attracting candidates when salary offers are low, and relocation issues. Pretty universal I would say.
